There are many volunteer opportunities available to Lake Winnipeg Foundation members that can be tailored to your interests and availability. Below are areas where help is needed, please contact the appropriate person listed below if you have any questions or if you are willing to volunteer.
Education Committee
The education committee needs individuals who are prepared to make presentations to schools, clubs other organizations requesting information on the Lake. The education committee also develops materials for presentation. Individuals need to feel comfortable in meeting the general public.

Fund Raising Activities:
Live Lake Concert
The Foundation puts on a live lake concert once a year. Individuals are needed for planning and promoting this event.

Walkathon
The Walkathon has also become a very succesful annual event. Individuals are needed for planning, promoting, distribution of posters, pledge sheets, registration, food arrangements and signage.

Selling T-shirts
The foundation sells T-Shirts and we need individuals for promotion and distribution.

Membership Committee:
Individuals are needed for promoting membership, attendance at events to assist with selling memberships and possibly processing data related to new members.
