The Foundation has committed funding ($1,000 per year for 5 years) along with a number of other Community Foundations to ensure that the consortium’s research ship is well managed and that research continues on the lake for the foreseeable future.
- East Interlake Conservation District (EICD) ($15,000)
The Foundation is providing support to EICD ($5,000 annually for 3 years) to conduct studies on the Icelandic and Fisher rivers to gather water quality and other data about the ecological state of the waterways which flow into Lake Winnipeg.
- Village of Dunnottar ($ 1,000)
