July 27
Pre-survey shoreline tour for SHIM field crew

July 30
Field crew surveyed shoreline from Icelandic River to Gimli Picked up at Gimli Harbour, fed and overnight at Benson's.

July 31
Survey Gimli to Ponemah Picked up at Winnipeg Beach landing, overnight at Smith's; gear delivered to Ponemah

August 1
Survey Matlock to Beaconia Picked up at Beaconia landing, fed and overnight at Crabb's; gear delivered to Beaconia

August 2
Survey Beaconia to Victoria Beach (alternative Traverse Bay) Picked up at Victoria Beach or Traverse Bay Landing, overnight at the Birchwood; gear delivered to the Birchwood, Highway 59, Traverse Bay

August 3
Survey Traverse Bay to Beaconia Picked up at Beaconia landing, fed and overnight at Crabb's; gear delivered to Beaconia

August 4
Survey Beaconia to Ponemah Picked up at Matlock, overnight at Smith's; Alex delivered gear to Ponemah

August 5
Survey Ponemah to Gimli Picked up at Gimli, fed and overnight at Benson's

August 6
Last leg of Field Survey completed today - Gimli to Arnes Field crew driven back to Winnipeg (Alex Salki)

In general, sampling began at 8:00 am and went until 6:00 pm (10 hour days). Personal gear was delivered to the next overnight location by car, prior to crew arrival.

Each sampling day, the decision to work on the lake was made by the Captain Linda Benson, in consultation with the field crew. Hosts were advised of schedule delays or changes by Alex Salki.
