Insist that your governments install proper sewage collection, treatment and disposal systems..
Keep farm livestock out of the lake and tributary streams.
Pick up after pets.
Keep beaches and stream banks free from litter.
Pick up your garbage.
Report pollution events when you see them.
Leave shorelines in their natural states.
Tell your elected representatives that the lake matters to you.
