The Western Wetlands Monitoring and Assessment Workgroup will host the third regional meeting in Rapid City, South Dakota, on April 29, 30 and May 1. The meeting is being organized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region VIII. The workshop is intended for both developers and users of wetland monitoring and assessment tools including wetland and water quality scientists and managers with federal, state, and tribal agencies, academic institutions, and private organizations. The North American Lake Management Society will host a conference on watershed management at the Chateau Lake Louise, Lake Louise, Alberta.
